About the rapid test (antigen test)
The SARS-CoV-2 antigen test we use at Event Medical Services measures virus proteins in a swab from the nose/throat. The rapid test typically measures whether there are SARS-CoV-2 nucleoproteins or spike glycoproteins in the swab sample.
The rapid test only takes 15 minutes, and the result is subsequently sent via SMS. The test result is then transferred to sundhed.dk.
A rapid test is not as accurate as a PCR test, but it still helps catch infected individuals who have no symptoms or have not yet developed symptoms of COVID-19.
About the PCR test
If you need to present a negative Covid-19 test in connection with, for example, business travel, we offer PCR tests with results within either 1-3 hours or 24 hours.
