Supplier to Rigshospitalet
Event Medical Services is approved as a supplier to, among others, Rigshospitalet, and we serve various intensive and anesthesiological departments. The picture shows an intrahospital transport between Denmark and Norway.
Safe Transfer and Retrieval (STaR)
We are STaR compliant and can facilitate the necessary expertise and medical equipment to comply with guidelines. The Danish Society for Emergency Medicine (DASEM) and the Danish Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (DASAIM) introduced the transport course Safe Transfer and Retrieval adapted to Danish conditions. The course was originally developed in England by the Advanced Life Support Group.
Advanced monitoring equipment
Our primary monitoring equipment is the LifePak model 15, which is a combined monitor and defibrillator that monitors heart rate, non-invasive blood pressure, pulse oximetry, and has the ability to record 12-lead electrocardiograms. Our monitoring equipment is expanded with internal modules for capnography, invasive pressure monitoring (A-cannula), and pacemaker module.
In addition to the standard equipment in the ambulance, we have also added additional measuring equipment such as POC measurement of infection levels (CRP), blood count (hemoglobin; hb), ketones, Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2-IgG), etc.
