It's about the children
One day in April 2022, we at Event Medical Services were contacted by the passionate Jette Hill Ludvigsen. Jette has for several years been the organizer of paid garden concerts held in her own backyard in Vanløse. At these garden concerts, Jette collected funds for organizations such as Børns Vilkår and Børnehjælpsdagen.
Jette had always had a dream of raising enough funds to be able to invite placed children and young people to garden concerts in her backyard in Vanløse. Jette herself is a foster mother to four girls and had a desire to make a difference for children who live in children's homes and who do not get many experiences. She managed to raise enough funds through private foundations to hold the garden concerts - and at Event Medical Services, we said yes when asked if we would volunteer for the garden concerts and provide an ambulance on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
A magical weekend
300-400 foster children and young people had a huge experience when several of their idols performed at Jette's garden concerts. On Saturday, it was Artigeardit, ICEKIID, Jimilian, and Togo who performed for the older children and young people, and on Sunday, the younger ones could experience Dissing and Las playing.
In addition to experiencing good music throughout the weekend, Event Medical Services was, of course, also ready to showcase the ambulance so the children could see what the ambulance looked like inside.
At Event Medical Services, we are happy that we have been allowed to support the good cause and give all the children an experience that they will hopefully never forget.
