Together with the committee, Danes for Ukrainian Independence, we have collectively donated a total of three ambulances to Ukraine.

A strong collaboration
In early April 2022, Event Medical Services was contacted by the committee Danes for Ukrainian Independence. They were looking for an ambulance for the war in Ukraine.
The ambulance was to be sent to a team of American doctors and paramedics who were in need of a vehicle to transport wounded and injured children to safety. Additionally, the ambulance was to provide intensive transport from field hospitals with few resources to hospitals in Poland with more resources.
Event Medical Services and Danes for Ukrainian Independence agreed that the committee could purchase an ambulance for a small amount, and that Event Medical Services would donate equipment and medical technology to the ambulance.
Our collaboration with Danes for Ukrainian Independence has resulted in us having donated three ambulances to Ukraine since April 2022.

The First Ambulance
In addition to the equipment donated by Event Medical Services, we, in collaboration with the Danes for Ukrainian Independence committee, raised extra funds and materials. This resulted in us being able to donate a fully equipped ambulance, along with a substantial quantity of additional relevant medical equipment.
The ambulance included, among other things:
Zoll defibrillator Laerdal electric suction unit Medical oxygen supply Manual suction device Ferno stretcher Spineboard Olaes trauma dressings Scoopboard 500+ Peripheral intravenous catheters Tourniquet (CAT) Intubation equipment Oropharyngeal airway (OPA) Wound care supplies Bandaging materials Burn treatment supplies Monitoring equipment Nasal airways (NPA) Infusion sets Transfusion sets Vacuum mattress

The Second Ambulance
The strong collaboration with the Danes for Ukrainian Independence committee led to the successful dispatch of another fully equipped ambulance to the conflict in Ukraine on Saturday, September 17, 2022.
Our Ukrainian contact person and our partners from the Danes for Ukrainian Independence committee arrived at our station in Køge to collect the ambulance.

The Third Ambulance
On September 9, 2023, we dispatched our third fully equipped ambulance to Ukraine, which, this time, also included an oxygen generator and antibiotics.
The ambulance was to be used to transport sick and injured children from field hospitals to hospitals in safety from the front line. Therefore, various organizations had also contributed donations of handballs, footballs, and games for children and the young at heart to enjoy.

Danes for Ukrainian Independence
The Danes for Ukrainian Independence committee would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the collaboration with Event Medical Services during the Ukraine crisis.
Following a committee inquiry regarding assistance for a team of international doctors and the subsequent dissemination of this request through our social media platform, Event Medical Services were the first to step forward in terms of donating a fully equipped ambulance. (...)
We at Danes for Ukrainian Independence cannot thank Mikkel and Mark enough for their professionalism, willingness, dedication, and contribution to making the world a better place, and we hope that this excellent partnership continues..

Statement from our Ukrainian contact
As of today the plan is that 4 teams of two paramedics will locate in Kyiv region and should provide emergency evacuations between frontline cities to the key hospitals in Kyiv, or transfer stabilized patients from Kyiv region to west of Ukraine or abroad. (...) After we checked all you’ve packed in, we were a bit shocked, that is the most perfectly prepared “ambulance” for Ukrainian rescue we’ve seen so far!
